#Sherryweek postcard – a glass of Manzanilla
I’m sending day 4’s postcard from Sanlucar, the only place in the world where Manzanilla can be made. Delicate, saline and zippy – Manzanilla is like a walk on the beach on a breezy day. This photo was taken during a visit to Bodegas Baron, a family-run bodega in the Barrio Alto of Sanlucar. The Manzanilla in the glass came straight from the barrel and is over 8 years average age, and yet it remains as pale as can be.
