Getting back to basics
I’ve been suffering from blogger’s block this week after a crazy month. October began with qualifying as a certified Sherry Educator and ended with me travelling to New York to complete the marathon. In between times, Señor Criadera was in the sick bay with serious food poisoning. So after a month of being too darn busy to blog, here I sit waiting for the muse to strike. It feels more like the muse is on strike!
After consulting with fellow bloggers for advice on my affliction, the consensus is clear: get back to basics, write some words and reconnect with what I love.
So where better to do that than Bar Pepito – my rincón de Jerez in London? With an hour to spare, I’m topping up my sherry inspiration with a glass of Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castilla Antique Palo Cortado which, as Criadera readers will already know, is the cat’s pyjamas.
Do you know what? I’m feeling better already.
